- CPR/AED TrainingSep 23, 2024 12:00 PM | Tufts University is offering CPR/AED classes in the fall semester designed to teach the lifesaving skills necessary to help a friend, family member, neighbor, and all community members in need. This is an instructor-led course that teaches adult, child, and infant CPR. Additionally, the course will teach the use of Automated External Defibrillators (AED). This class is open to Tufts students, faculty, and staff and is limited to 20 students per session. Classes are free and open to all levels of experience. Please come to the Hill Hall Aerobics Room (entrance is at the back of Hill Hall, up the stairs to the right of the mail room) five minutes prior to class start time. No equipment required! Our council of Indigenous students have worked very hard to celebrate each other, honor the land of the peoples’ that we reside on, and continue engagement with the surrounding Indigenous organizations and communities. The celebration will be held on October 13 from 1–6:30 p.m. on the residential quad, with a program packed full of Indigenous music, dance, and speakers. We will also have over 20 vendors selling handmade jewelry, artwork, and clothes, and two caterers who will bring Indigenous foods specific to their cultures. Attending IPD is a great way to support and honor the enduring legacy of Indigenous communities. We hope to see you there!
