René LaPointe Jameson's passion for social justice and engineering is as infectious as her laughter. After transferring into the School of Engineering, this enterprising Jumbo has blazed her own path in engineering and social justice, building on her family's legacy of community building and sustainability.
- Providing Comfort to Children in NeedTufts students gather weekly to make handmade blankets for children in need and in hospitals, donating approximately 200 blankets a year as part of the national nonprofit organization Project Linus. The student chapter is part of the Leonard Carmichael Society, the largest student-run community service organization at Tufts University.
