Tufts students gather weekly to make handmade blankets for children in need and in hospitals, donating approximately 200 blankets a year as part of the national nonprofit organization Project Linus. The student chapter is part of the Leonard Carmichael Society, the largest student-run community service organization at Tufts University.

On Oct. 6, 2023, Tufts University installed Sunil Kumar as its 14th president, in a ceremony that marked the conclusion of a week's worth of celebrations across its campuses.

Alumni, friends, neighbors, students, and parents celebrated on the Medford/Somerville campus on Sept. 23 as alumni returned to the Hill while Athletics teams took the fields during the day before the football team played under the lights at night. Go Jumbos!

New students kicked off their time at Tufts as they moved in and participated in a variety of pre-orientation programs throughout the week before matriculating on Aug. 30.

President Sunil Kumar welcomed members of the Class of 2027 to Tufts on August 30.

Meet the 9-month-old rescue pup who is the newest member of the Tufts University Police Department. Once she completes her training with the nonprofit organization, Hero Pups, Pepper will be the university's first comfort dog, providing emotional support to the entire Tufts community.
