Student Life invites you to join us for Circle Up Film Screening and Talk Back with two pioneers in the restorative practices.
After the brutal slaying of her teenage son, Janet Connors reaches out to her son's killer to offer a chance at forgiveness. They team up with a team group of mothers of murdered children including Clarissa Turner to help young people in their community break the chain of violence and revenge. Through the use of Indigenous practices such as circles, these mothers help to reshape how individuals, organizations and institutions think about healing after harm. Circle Up is a call to action to reframe how crime and punishment is approached through the lens of restorative practices, compassion, and love. Please join us for a screening and talk back with Janet Connors and Clarissa Turner.
Tickets available for undergraduate and graduate students at TuftsTickets.com. Faculty and Staff should contact the Office for Student Life for tickets.
