GSWE x SWE Boston: Engine Workshop

Description

Tufts GSWE will be partnering with the professional section of SWE Boston to host an engine workshop. During this hands-on workshop, you will disassemble and identify basic components of a small engine and review how combustion engines work. This is a great opportunity to learn something new and network with some professional engineers here in Boston!

Eight Women Performances

On a late December morning, the house and the estate are covered in snow, and the man of the house is found murdered in his room. Very quickly, those present realize that the criminal couldn’t have entered or left the estate and is therefore one of the eight women present: his wife, his sister-in-law, his mother-in-law, his eldest daughter, his youngest daughter, the maid, the nanny, and finally his sister. All eight are snowed in, having to control themselves or else truths will come out. Instead of banding together to find the murderer they tear each other apart because of their differing classes, ages, and sexual desires. Who will die; who will survive; who will make it out alive?!
Performances will be held on April 11th, 12th, and 13th at 8pm!

Food 4 Thought 2024 is a first-of-its-kind food festival bringing together students from global universities to envision the future of the food system. F4T is 100% student-run and will take place on the historic campus of Harvard University. Over the course of three days, F4T will feature speakers, thought leaders, researchers, food vendors, and alternative protein companies from across Boston and around the world. Through impactful panels, workshops, and fairs, the festival aims to give students and other attendees the tools and knowledge to help shape the future of food to be more sustainable, equitable, healthy, and cruelty-free.
