In lieu of a meeting this Sunday, we’ll be doing some shopping! MIT’s Swapfest aka The Flea at MIT is happening this Sunday, April 21 for the first time this year! In their words, it’s “a place to buy, sell, and swap amateur radio, electronic, and computer equipment.” They display lots of neat stuff, it’s super cool and chill, and in my opinion a great way to decompress before finals.
We can provide transport to the Swapfest via car, but there are limited spots! Join the Discord for more details. As for public transport, I recommend taking the Red Line from Davis Square to Kendall/MIT. The Swapfest is at Albany Street Garage on Albany St between Main Streets and Mass Ave in Cambridge.
We’ll try to be at the Flea at 10 am. Admissions is $6 but if you print out this poster and bring it, it’s $5. Almost all payments are cash.
