The Spring 2024 Jumbo Ventures Demo Day is the culmination of our semester’s programming and the opportunity for the cohort to present their early-stage ventures. As an early-stage accelerator, cohorts will be judged based on criteria listed in the Demo Day Rubric that emphasize validation over traction.

Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 (9:00 for runover) PM

Date: Monday, April 29

Structure: 

The Jumbo Ventures Co-Presidents will begin the demo day by reiterating its structure and give a brief introduction to each judge before letting them introduce themselves. During the pitching, each team has a maximum of 4 minutes to pitch their venture, followed by 2 minutes of questions from the judges. After all the teams have pitched, the judges will leave the room for 10 minutes to deliberate and discuss their individual ratings for each team. At the end of the intermission, judges will come back into the room to share feedback to help each team improve and present their decision on the first and second-place teams.
