Tufts South Asian Regional Committee's presents our annual Spring Symposium, Resilience and Justice: Climate Change in South Asia. Join SARC at various panels and events from April 9th to April 13th as we explore themes of climate justice, talk to invited speakers about pressing issues regarding climate change, and discuss with other Tufts clubs about South Asian perspectives on issues of the environment. Learning from history, SARC intends to recenter local and indigenous knowledge to the forefront of conversation, amalgamating with expert perspectives and academic data to shed light on climate-related inequities, appreciate indigenous South Asian knowledge, and foster dialogue on past impacts, present concerns, and future solutions of climate issues in South Asia. We invite you to attend any of our events, keeping an open mind to learn new perspectives whilst contributing your own.
