Description
We have invited Jaclyn Skidmore, an epidemiologist, to come to Tufts and discuss her experiences. She has been working in
Uganda, South Sudan and Sudan as an Epidemiologist, primarily on infectious diseases, but also on noncommunicable diseases.
In Uganda she worked on an Ebola outbreak as well as a response to an influx of refugees from DRC. In her most recent

reporting amidst the civil war.
She will speak about how she got involved in MSF/what the recruiting process is like, general overview of the situations in the
countries that she has worked in, what it's like to be an American and female field worker, etc.
Free pizza will be provided!
