Global Health Equity Fair
- Location101 MultiPurpose Room (Curtis Hall)
Description
The Global Health Equity Fair is a dynamic event that brings together student organizations committed to advancing health equity on local and global scales. This fair serves as a platform for student-led clubs, research groups, and advocacy organizations to showcase their work, whether through community initiatives, policy advocacy, or groundbreaking research on health disparities. Each organization is given a table to engage attendees in discussions about their projects, share findings on pressing health equity issues, and inspire collaboration among like-minded students. Through interactive displays, networking opportunities, and educational materials, the fair fosters a community of change-makers dedicated to addressing systemic health inequities. Ideas for booths that we have thought of running ourselves include posters on our partner organizations (Move Up Global and PHASE Nepal), a menstrual cramp simulator, and a poster on research conducted by club members related to social determinants of vestibular health in New York City.
