Thursday, April 24, 2025 4:30–6:30 PM
- Location200 Schmidheiny Room (Mugar Hall in The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy)
Description
All Tufts students are welcomed to this 1-2 hour workshop hosted jointly by The Lantern Think Tank and the esteemed Applied Social Media Lab at the Berkman Klein Center (who have experience working in startups and in big tech). Join us on Thursday, April 24th from 4:30-6:30PM in the 200 Schmidheiny Room (Mugar Hall) - it's in Fletcher!
Traditional CS ethics curricula (e.g. Harvard’s Embedded EthiCS) teach students to reason about the societal and ethical implications of their work. We seek to teach students – future tech workers – how to apply these ethical reasoning skills constructively: if you feel that your work is causing harm, what can you do?
