Join Tufts South Asian Regional Committee for a riveting presentation from renowned Bangladeshi photographer and educator, Abir Abdullah, on documenting the struggles of climate migrants in Bangladesh as climate grows more erratic and unpredictable. Abir Abdullah serves as the Photography Workshop Coordinator at the Alliance Française de Dhaka. He received his Master's in Marketing from Dhaka University and began his academic career with foundational courses at the Bangladesh Photographic Institute in 1993. He has an extensive background including workshops, a diploma in photojournalism and a prolific freelancing period from 1994 to 1995. His photographs, featured in publications such as the New York Times, Asiaweek, and TIME, have garnered acclaim, and his contributions to the art of photography continue to leave a lasting impact.
