Kick off this academic year right and join Tufts University's 3rd annual Day of Service! Volunteers will meet promptly at 51 Winthrop Street/Breed Memorial Hall by 1:00 p.m. for check-in, a brief speaking program and a group photo. All supplies and instructions will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and wear sneakers and Tufts gear. There will be snacks, water and fun raffle prizes from local businesses. Tufts students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends and community members are encouraged to participate - bring your friends! Volunteers will walk between 10 - 20 minutes from Breed Hall to assigned service sites. The event will proceed rain or shine. Please dress accordingly.  Register Now! Group members will have an opportunity to talk about their current lives and the impact of loss while juggling the demands of being a student. Participants will form a connection with each other as a community on this shared journey. This 2-day retreat at the Providence Zen Center opens to all Tufts students. Itis an excellent opportunity for students to take a pause from their busy lives and enjoy the beauty of mindful practices. We will depart on Friday evening and come back to campus on Sunday. Main activities will include sitting meditation, walking meditation, dharma talks, chanting, etc. It is open to all undergraduate and graduate students.
