Description
What is Green Dot?
Green Dot is a student-run organization under the CARE office with a goal to end sexual misconduct on our campus. We provide education, training, and skills so anyone can be an active bystander and interrupt concerning behaviors. Our goal is to build a community where everyone feels empowered to take action and find comfortable, healthy ways to look out for yourself and your peers.
What is Green Dot Day?
Green Dot Day is our annual Day of Action! Our goal is to promote bystander intervention techniques with conversation/connection, build community through activities and events, and empower people to find a way in their lives to create a safer/healthier campus. By having so many engaging events, we are breaking down barriers and inviting people to have conversations around prevention and the incredible resources we have here at Tufts/CARE. Community building is a key prevention technique, and that’s the whole goal of the day!
