The Tufts 3MT competition (Three Minute Thesis) is an academic event designed for graduate students to present their research concisely, typically lasting three minutes. Participants present their work using a single static slide, aiming to communicate the significance of their research to a non-specialist audience. The competition encourages students to develop their presentation and research communication skills, making their work more accessible to a broader audience. Public Harmony Showcase is a semesterly event allowing members to present and perform music for their Tufts peers and community, be creative, and shine light on their musical passions! As a student organization, we unite music and service: bringing student musicians into the community to perform at venues including assisted living facilities and shelters in Tufts’ surrounding communities. Our purpose is to increase access to live music where opportunity is limited, while offering members the chance to collaborate and perform with like-minded peers.
