Back by popular demand, the Tufts Student Alumni Collective and 'Bos of the Last Decade (BOLD) is hosting a seminar focused on financial preparation for life after college. This session is designed for students, soon-to-be graduates, and young alumni who want to feel confident about managing money after Tufts. We’ll cover the basics - what a 401(k) is and why people talk about “maxing it out,” how to start saving for big goals like renting your own place, buying a car, or planning for grad school, and whether you really need a financial advisor or can handle things on your own. In a supportive and confidential space, group members will have the opportunity to share challenges and reflections around social connections and relationships through their journeys through cultural adjustment, identity development, community building, and managing academic or career-related stress at Tufts. The goal of this group is to build self-awareness and improve relationship skills through open and thoughtful exploration of our co-created group experience.
