Graduate School in Astronomy! Why and How Session with Professor David Martin!

Wednesday, October 15, 2025 12:00–1:00 PM
  • Location
    CLIC 402

Description

A PhD in astronomy or astrophysics may sound like a great idea — and often it is — but how do you get there, and is it the right path for you? This information session will help you answer these two questions. It’s relevant both for students who are about to apply and for those who may be considering it a few  years down the line. While the session is primarily focused on astronomy graduate school, much of the information will also apply to physics programs. The workshop will include plenty of time for Q&A, so come prepared with your questions — and consider asking yourself some of the ones below ahead of time.
