THE MIT SWAPFEST!!!
It's back, baby! On October 19th, the MIT Swapfest (aka the Flea at MIT) shall return. In their words, it's "a place to buy, sell, and swap amateur radio, electronic, and computer equipment." It's a great place to see lots of cool tech and gadgets and even bond with your fellow club members. I've bought books, DVDs, and even some retro video-games there. And I know people who've gotten entire server rigs and a 3D printer there. You never know what they'll have to offer.
The entrance fee is normally $6, but you can bring it down to $5 if you print out this poster and present it upon entry! The Swapfest is at 36 Albany St, Cambridge, MA 02139. If you're interested in going with us, we will meet by the Davis Square Red Line entrance (near the 7/11) at 10:00 am on Sunday, October 19th.  Please sign up for the Swapfest by filling out our interest form.

Most vendors are cash-only, so remember to hit the ATMs beforehand. Also this event will  replace our usual Sunday meeting for this week.
We hope to see you there! This is the last Swapfest of 2025, so if you haven't been so far, this is your last chance until spring 2026!

Leonard Carmichael Society & Tufts Athletics have revived a long held annual tradition: Halloween on the Hill (HOH)! Back by popular demand, we are inviting neighboring families to celebrate Halloween with an afternoon of activities, crafts, and of course candy!
This event will be occurring on Sunday, October 19th from 3:00-5:00pm on Tufts Academic Quad. We are asking that all children be accompanied by an adult. Come in costume and with an appetite for spooks and shenanigans!
