Data physicalizations create tangible, embodied representations of data, engaging both creators and audiences in the labor behind the data, its contents, and presentation. The workshop will guide participants through the basics of zines as a potential medium for data collection, inquiry, visualization, and sharing in community. We will have supplies for zine-making, but you are welcome to bring your supplies. You can join us or do your own thing and explore visualization through felting, crochet, drawing, or whatever interests you. The workshop is scheduled until 1:30 p.m., but we will stick around for open creative time. Please bring a laptop.
