Led by Andrew West, Lecturer in Chemistry at Tufts We will explore the diversity of stars in the Galaxy and learn how they produce light. We will also learn about the various paths that stars take during their evolution and why this is important to making the air we breathe and most of the atoms in our body. We will briefly discuss white dwarfs, neutron stars, supernova and even black holes - but mostly, you will walk away with a new appreciation for your stellar origins.
