The discussion will provide insights into her career journey as a scientist and now as a leader in higher education. Provost Genco will share insights on the role of a university provost and what she finds rewarding and challenging in her responsibilities to advance the academic mission and priorities of the institution. The conversation will also focus on steps she has taken to address campus climate, develop an inclusive community, and to respond to emerging trends. Attendees may submit questions in advance, and there will be a limited opportunity to answer questions from the virtual audience. Presented to alumni but open to the entire community (parents, faculty, staff and students), this series will dig into the journeys, highlights, and challenges of Tufts University leaders.
