Anti-Racist Teaching Faculty Learning Community

In this learning community, faculty members come together to share innovative practices related to anti-racist teaching. The group meets once per month for 90 minutes and is remote to make the group more accessible to faculty from across the university. Participants represent a variety of schools, including the SMFA at Tufts, the School of Arts and Sciences, the School of Engineering, the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy, and the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy. In the past two years, participants have explored new concepts related to anti-racist teaching and how to integrate these practices into their courses and receive feedback on current challenges. This year, we will focus our conversations around a common text that will be discussed during the initial meeting of the year to be held on September 30 from 1 to 2:30 p.m. If you are interested in this FLC, please reach out to Dana Grossman Leeman at dana.leeman@tufts.edu.
