This is a mandatory training session for all new student-volunteers for Tufts Brain Exercise Initiative (BEI). The goal is to make sure all volunteers are prepared for their first volunteering session with our local partner nursing home. We will be covering expectations for working with the elderly, facilitation skills for the cognitive exercise packets, and logistics regarding transportations.
