This interpersonal process group is designed for Mandarin-speaking students who want to explore and strengthen how they relate to others. In a supportive and confidential space, group members will have the opportunity to share challenges and reflections around social connections and relationships through their journeys through cultural adjustment, identity development, community building, and managing academic or career-related stress at Tufts. The goal of this group is to build self-awareness and improve relationship skills through open and thoughtful exploration of our co-created group experience. Group members will have an opportunity to talk about their current lives and the impact of loss while juggling the demands of being a student. The Tufts 3MT competition (Three Minute Thesis) is an academic event designed for graduate students to present their research concisely, typically lasting three minutes. Participants present their work using a single static slide, aiming to communicate the significance of their research to a non-specialist audience. The competition encourages students to develop their presentation and research communication skills, making their work more accessible to a broader audience. Public Harmony Showcase is a semesterly event allowing members to present and perform music for their Tufts peers and community, be creative, and shine light on their musical passions! As a student organization, we unite music and service: bringing student musicians into the community to perform at venues including assisted living facilities and shelters in Tufts’ surrounding communities. Our purpose is to increase access to live music where opportunity is limited, while offering members the chance to collaborate and perform with like-minded peers.
