In a nod to those beginnings, Emmanuel Feldman opens the program with the Schubert Arpeggione Sonata, joined by pianist Victor Cayres. The couple then reunites as Duo Cello e Basso, bringing their trademark blend of virtuosity and chemistry to Bottesini’s dazzling Grand Duo, with Feldman taking on the violin part on cello—performed standing with his groundbreaking invention, the TekStand.
