THE MIT SWAPFEST!!!
It's back, baby! On September 21st, the MIT Swapfest (aka the Flea at MIT) shall return. In their words, it's "a place to buy, sell, and swap amateur radio, electronic, and computer equipment." It's a great place to see lots of cool tech and gadgets and even bond with your fellow club members. I've bought books, DVDs, and even some retro video-games there. And I know people who've gotten entire server rigs and a 3D printer there. You never know what they'll have to offer.
The entrance fee is normally $6, but you can bring it down to $5 if you print out this poster and present it upon entry!
The Swapfest is at 36 Albany St, Cambridge, MA 02139. If you're interested in going with us, we will meet by the Davis Square Red Line entrance (near the 7/11) at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 21.
Most vendors are cash-only, so remember to hit the ATMs beforehand. Also this is taking the place of our usual Sunday meeting.
