Jumbo Life Calendar | Academic Quad
Jumbo Fire & Flow is a flow, fire and circus arts club. At our weekly sessions we practice and skill-share an array flow arts. We juggle, spin hoops, poi, staves and more. We have plenty of props for you to learn and practice with. When the weather is comfortable we take to the quad for fire spinning. All levels, especially beginners, are welcome (all of the current leadership started with no experience). Come by, hang out, listen to music, connect with community, and gain some flow arts skills. ** This is an OUTDOOR jam with FIRE. ** Attendance is open, but participation with fire requires prop and safety training, and a signed safety waiver. Our club hosted an Industry Speaker Panel featuring Dr. Lauren Blake, Ben Markowitz, Ziad Mahmassani, and Kevin Gelston, who shared insights from their careers in the biotech and pharmaceutical fields. The event gave students the opportunity to learn firsthand about diverse roles, challenges, and innovations shaping the industry.
