MERG is sending 6 students to Dearborn, MI -- a town that will be very determinant in the outcome of 2024 elections, less than two weeks before Election Day! Students will attend the Connect Arab America: Empowerment Summit, meet with organizations, and visit the Arab America National Museum. Lastly, students will also speak to Dearborn citizens in a storytelling journalism initiative, to make sense of political nuance among the Arab American community right now. Our club collaborates with the international nonprofit "Timmy Global Health," which helps communities enhance their local health outcomes. At our Tufts University chapter, we have three committees: fundraising, advocacy, and domestic service. The fundraising committee organizes engaging and educational events for Tufts students and the wider community.
