Join Tufts FedSoc for our first debate of the semester! We will be hosting Vincent Muñoz, former Tufts Professor and current Tocqueville Professor of Political Science and Concurrent Professor of Law at Notre Dame, and Paul Polgar, Associate Professor of Political Science from Tufts and the University of Mississippi. Our guests will answer the question: Was America founded to be a secular nation? A Q&A section will be available at the end of the event, and Chic-fil-A will be served. Kick off this academic year right and join Tufts University's 2nd annual Day of Service! Volunteers will meet promptly at 51 Winthrop Street/Breed Memorial Hall for check-in, a brief speaking program and a group photo. All supplies and instructions will be provided. Participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle and wear sneakers and Tufts gear. There will be snacks, water and fun raffle prizes from local businesses. Tufts students, staff, faculty, alumni, friends and community members are encouraged to participate - bring your friends! Volunteers will walk between 10 - 20 minutes from Breed Hall to assigned service sites. The event will proceed rain or shine. Please dress accordingly. This fall semester we will be hosting an in-person Career Fair (9/27) for students to explore and connect with organizations across a variety of industries. All Tufts students from any major are encouraged to attend - first year through graduate students!
This session will teach you how best to prepare for a career fair. You will learn best practices for your interactions and how to stand out to employers. There will also be time for Q&A after the session ends for those who would like to stick around.
Who will be at the fairs?
Employers looking to hire students for entry-level positions for after graduation.? Employers looking to speak to students about possible internships. Employers looking to connect with students to teach them more about their organization.
