Come see ASHTAR Theatre's The Gaza Monologues, an independent production sponsored by 3Ps directed by August Kittleson! The performance will be in Balch Arena Theater on April 21st at 6pm. No tickets are needed. The piece features 31 monologues about the 2008-2009 war on Gaza written by Palestinian-Gazan youth in 2010. Last year, ASHTAR Theatre called for a "Global Reading of The Gaza Monologues" by all concerned theatre-makers and artists. The goal is to amplify Palestinian voices from Gaza, critically reflect on the play's historical significance, and recognize its deep relevance with contemporary sociopolitical realities. If you're interested in reading a monologue, you can sign up here by April 16th! Learn more at http://tufts.presence.io/event/the-gaza-monologues
