- 7:00 PM1hCareer Planning WorkshopStudent Life Calendar | Tisch Library Room 316
Charitable donation is only one way to make the world better. Another, possibly much more substantial way to do good, is by pursuing a career to address one of the world's most pressing problems. --- You have 80,000 hours in your career: 40 hours per week, 50 weeks per year, for 40 years. That’s a huge amount of time. And it means that your career is not only a major driver of your happiness — it’s probably also your biggest opportunity to have a positive impact on the world. So how can you best spend those hours? — 80,000 hours --- We can’t answer this question for you in one short workshop, but we can equip you with the tools and resources to explore this question and enable you to make a purposeful and informed decision on how to best approach your career.
