What happens when a summer fellowship becomes the launchpad for a career in civic leadership? Twenty years ago, the Tisch Summer Fellows (TSF) program began placing Tufts students in hands-on civic internships across the public, nonprofit, and private sectors. Since then, TSF alumni have gone on to shape the world as organizers, researchers, policymakers, educators, and beyond. This special anniversary panel brings together TSF alumni to reflect on their journeys and current students who are just starting theirs. Together, they’ll explore how civic learning at Tufts continues to shape lives, careers, and communities long after graduation. Registration required, all are welcome. Lunch provided.

Inspired by a dramatic slice of Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace, this innovative electropop opera follows the young and passionate Natasha Rostova as she arrives in Moscow, eagerly awaiting her fiancé’s return from war. But when she falls for the charming and reckless Anatole, her world is turned upside down. Caught in the middle is Pierre, a family friend struggling with his own sense of purpose, who must step in to help Natasha recover from scandal. With its bold storytelling and genre-defying music, Great Comet has captivated audiences from its early days in New York’s Ars Nova to celebrated runs off-Broadway and on Broadway.
