Kayhan Kalhor, a Grammy-winning kamancheh (Persian spike fiddle) player, is renowned for his breathtaking improvisations and his role in bringing Persian classical music to international audiences. His collaborations range from Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble to groundbreaking cross-cultural projects that blend East and West. Joining him is Kiya Tabassian, acclaimed composer and setar (Persian long-necked lute) virtuoso, whose innovative artistry bridges Persian traditions with contemporary global sounds.
