Join us for Sukkah for the Unforgotten—a pop-up sukkah on the Campus Center Upper Patio. Marking the second anniversary of October 7 and the holiday of Sukkot, we’ll offer simple mitzvot done in merit of those who were killed and those still held captive: sit and eat a cookie in the sukkah and shake the lulav & etrog. Chabad board members will provide prayer sheets, guidance, and brief stories of victims. The rabbi will lead lulav and etrog at specific time blocks. All proceeds will go to CASA, Court Appointed Special Advocates, which is an organization that helps represent children in the foster care system so they are more likely to find a permanent home.
